Network Support Engineer —

ABOUT THE ROLE
We're looking for a mid-to-senior level network engineer to provide dedicated morning coverage for a large-scale Aruba switching and wireless infrastructure. This is a low-stress monitoring role with occasional troubleshooting and device management — ideal for someone who values consistency and a steady work rhythm.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Monitor Aruba switches and wireless access points across client environments
  • Troubleshoot connectivity issues, performance degradation, and device failures
  • Coordinate and execute hardware replacements as needed
  • Configure and deploy new Aruba switches and access points occasionally
  • Perform routine maintenance including firmware updates and configuration backups
  • Document network changes, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures
  • Provide shift status updates and respond to escalations within established SLAs
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Mid-level to senior experience with Aruba switching platforms
  • Hands-on experience deploying and managing Aruba wireless access points
  • Strong understanding of VLANs, routing, switching, and wireless protocols
  • Ability to troubleshoot network connectivity and performance issues independently
  • Experience with network monitoring and management tools
  • Strong documentation skills
  • Self-directed with ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Reliable availability Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
MST PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Aruba certification (ACMA, ACSA, or equivalent)
  • Experience managing large-scale Aruba deployments
  • Familiarity with Aruba Central or AirWave management platforms
  • Background in MSP or enterprise IT environments
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Corporate laptop provided by company
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection
  • Ability to access network management systems remotely
WORK SCHEDULE 20
hours per week — Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM MST. Remote work arrangement. Consistent weekly availability required.
