Water Operations & Systems Specialist Location:
Remote. Open to international candidates (must be able to work Eastern Time hours) Designing Beautiful Spaces. Building Smarter Systems. Wood + Water is a kitchen and bath design studio specializing in cabinetry, countertops, fixtures, appliances, and thoughtful remodeling support. We help clients create functional, beautiful spaces through strong design, quality materials, and a detail-focused process. We are a small, fast-moving team that values accuracy, clear communication, accountability, and practical problem-solving. We are looking for a highly organized, tech-savvy Operations & Systems Specialist to help streamline daily operations and improve internal systems. This role is ideal for someone who understands workflows, project management, automation, documentation, and follow-through. You will help organize and expand our Monday.com setup, improve how our tools work together, and support the owner and team with administrative, project, CRM, finance, and process-related tasks. This role requires a proactive, systems-oriented approach beyond standard administrative support. Key Responsibilities Manage, organize, and improve workflows in Monday.com. Help streamline processes across project management, CRM, email, QuickBooks, quoting tools, and Microsoft 365. Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks and improve team efficiency. Support project tracking, task follow-up, documentation, and internal organization. Assist with estimates, invoices, client records, job updates, and administrative tasks. Coordinate information between tools, team members, clients, and vendors. Help manage social media scheduling, posting, inbox replies, and content organization as needed. Create and maintain SOPs, checklists, templates, and workflow documentation. Provide clear updates on priorities, blockers, deadlines, and next steps. Qualifications Experience in operations, project coordination, executive assistance, systems administration, or a similar role. Strong experience with Monday.com or similar project management platforms. Comfortable learning and connecting tools such as QuickBooks, CRM platforms, Microsoft 365, Teams, quoting software, email tools, and automation platforms. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and process-driven. Strong written English communication skills. Able to work independently and solve problems without constant supervision. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with direct feedback and clear expectations. Available to work during Eastern Time business hours. Experience with interior design, remodeling, cabinetry, construction, architecture, or home services is a plus. Experience with tools like Zapier, Make, Power Automate, Flick, Later, Buffer, or Hootsuite is a plus. Pay and Benefits Full-time remote position. Competitive pay based on experience.
