This role is best suited for a detail-oriented, service-minded technician who enjoys structured problem-solving, clear expectations, and being part of a technically strong team. This is not a call-center or purely administrative role. It is a hands-on Tier 1 position where quality, documentation, ownership, and thoughtful escalation matter. What You'll Do Provide on-site and remote Tier 1 technical support Troubleshoot hardware, software, and basic network issues methodically Own tickets through resolution and escalate appropriately Document work clearly so others can follow your thinking Support Microsoft 365, Active Directory user tasks, and end-user devices Follow established processes and escalation paths What We're Looking For Calm, methodical approach to problem-solving Strong sense of ownership and follow-through Comfortable working independently within defined standards Professional, clear communication with end users Desire to learn and grow technically Required Experience 1+ year of IT support experience (MSP preferred) Working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365, and Active Directory Basic understanding of DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP Experience using a ticketing system and documenting work
Compensation:
$55,000 - $70,000 annually Compensation is based on experience and skill level. Apex IT Consulting offers a clear growth path into Tier 1.5 and higher technical roles, with opportunities for certification support and ongoing professional development.
