In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless collaboration, data security, and system performance across enterprise platforms. This role is instrumental in facilitating the management, dissemination, and protection of knowledge across the enterprise using SharePoint and other collaborative tools. Duties Design, implement, and maintain SharePoint environments aligned with organizational needs and best practices in system architecture and system design. Manage SharePoint site collections, permissions, workflows, and content management to ensure optimal performance and security. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop custom solutions using APIs, RESTful services, JavaScript, PowerShell scripting, and other automation tools within the SharePoint ecosystem. Integrate SharePoint with other enterprise systems such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and NoSQL databases to facilitate data sharing and process automation. Monitor system health using tools like VMware, ESXi, Kubernetes, and AWS cloud services to ensure high availability through load balancing and virtualization strategies. Implement security protocols including firewalls, VPNs, DNS management, DHCP configuration, and information security measures to safeguard sensitive data. Support DevOps practices by establishing CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, Git repositories, scripting (Bash/Unix shell), and automation frameworks for seamless deployment updates. Conduct system administration tasks such as operating system management (Windows/Linux), network configuration (DNS, DHCP), and server maintenance to uphold infrastructure stability. Develop documentation for system architecture diagrams, solution architecture plans, process workflows using SDLC principles, and compliance standards. Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex issues involving system design or network configurations while coordinating with cybersecurity teams to address vulnerabilities. Qualifications Proven experience in systems engineering or system administration within IT infrastructure environments with a focus on SharePoint solutions. Strong understanding of operating systems including Windows Server and Linux distributions; experience with VMware ESXi or Azure virtualization is preferred. Hands-on knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure for deploying scalable solutions; familiarity with Kubernetes for container orchestration is a plus. Expertise in database management systems like SQL Server (Microsoft SQL), T-SQL scripting, Oracle PL/SQL, PostgreSQL or NoSQL databases such as Cassandra or MongoDB. Proficiency in scripting languages including PowerShell, Bash (Unix shell), Python or Shell Scripting for automation tasks. Experience with solution architecture principles within Service-oriented architecture (SOA) frameworks; familiarity with microservices architecture is advantageous. Knowledge of network protocols including
DNS, DHCP
; experience configuring firewalls and VPNs for secure connectivity. Familiarity with modern development tools such as Git version control systems and Jenkins CI/CD pipelines. Understanding of cybersecurity best practices related to information security policies and compliance standards. Ability to work within Agile methodologies while managing multiple projects simultaneously under SDLC guidelines. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; relevant certifications such as
Microsoft Certified:
