Job Description

A great UHY client is seeking a SharePoint Specialist to support a high-impact intranet and SharePoint optimization project. This role will focus on reorganizing and improving the company's North American SharePoint environment, creating a more user-friendly and consistent experience across the organization. The ideal candidate will bring strong SharePoint expertise along with the ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders and support content management initiatives. The SharePoint Specialist role is a contract position expected to last approximately 3-6 months. This is a hybrid opportunity based in East Lansing, MI, requiring approximately four days per week onsite (five days per week onsite during the initial onboarding and project ramp-up period).
LOOKING FOR
: The SharePoint Specialist should be proficient in Microsoft and policy formatting with a high level of communication and organization skills. This resource will be editing SharePoint. A background working with SharePoint is preferred. SharePoint Consultant Responsibilities Review, reorganize, and optimize the North American SharePoint intranet environment Identify and repair broken links, outdated content, and inconsistent formatting across SharePoint sites Consolidate and standardize SharePoint content and navigation structures Partner with internal site owners to organize and transition ownership of departmental pages Train internal users on maintaining and managing SharePoint content after project completion Support light administrative projects, including PowerPoint presentations and memo/document preparation Assist with improving overall usability and accessibility of the SharePoint environment SharePoint Consultant Requirements Strong SharePoint experience, including site organization and content management SharePoint editing expereince Experience improving or redesigning SharePoint environments and intranet structures Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills Ability to work independently while collaborating with multiple departments and stakeholders Strong communication, organizational, and training abilities Portfolio or examples of prior SharePoint projects preferred Experience with user training and documentation is a plus UHY Advisors' Resource Solutions Group provides clients with accomplished professionals to support finance, accounting, internal audit and tax teams.
