In this role, you will help teams build efficient workspaces, manage user access, and assist in the rollout of new SharePoint features. You will ensure our SharePoint environment remains organized, secure, and user-friendly.
Duties Site Support:
Assist in the creation and configuration of SharePoint sites, document libraries, and lists based on team requirements.
User Management:
Handle basic administration tasks including managing user permissions, troubleshooting access issues, and ensuring group memberships are up to date.
Content Assistance:
Help departments organize content, manage metadata, and implement basic workflows (Power Automate) to improve routine tasks.
Maintenance & Troubleshooting:
Perform routine system health checks and assist in resolving common front-end issues related to site navigation or syncing.
Documentation:
Maintain clear documentation for site structures, user guides, and internal standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Integration Support:
Help monitor existing integrations between SharePoint and Microsoft 365 apps (Teams, OneDrive, and Outlook).
Scripting:
Utilize basic PowerShell scripts to generate reports or perform bulk updates under the supervision of senior staff.
Testing:
Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new updates, patches, or custom features before they are deployed.
Experience & Requirements Education:
Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent entry-level certifications) is preferred but not required.
Technical Knowledge:
Foundational understanding of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, specifically SharePoint Online and OneDrive.
Technical Skills:
Knowledge of how permissions and inheritance work within a Windows environment.
Problem Solving:
A logical approach to troubleshooting and a desire to learn complex system architectures over time.
Communication:
Strong verbal and written skills to assist non-technical users with "how-to" questions and training.
Agile Mindset:
Ability to work within a team environment using basic project management tools.
Database Basics:
A high-level understanding of how data is stored and organized (SQL basics are a plus but not required).
Pay:
From $21.33 per hour
