Job Description

Compensation:
$85K-$95K per year Depending on Experience and/or
Degree/Formal Training Complete Benefit Package:

Will work 100% On-Site (no Hybrid or Remote option available) Support move/add/change requests related to existing networks Troubleshoot, diagnose, triage, and identify root causes to resolve network issues as needed Design, document, and implement existing systems, new networks, or upgrades General administration of firewalls, switches, WAPs including traffic policies and device access Lead new cabling initiatives and ensure quality of work Participate in meetings related to growing needs with networking and security focus Be proactive in identifying performance bottlenecks and potential trouble spots Assist with server deployment, troubleshooting, applications, access controls, virtual environments, security reviews Provide great customer service and support
Required Skills/Knowledge:
Minimum of 4 years of Information Systems and networking experience Strong knowledge of enterprise network environment and technologies (TCP/IP, switching, routing, VLANs, wireless) Intermediate experience in supporting Next-Generation Firewalls (SonicWall preferred, VPN) Intermediate experience administering Windows domains (Active Directory, Group Policies, file services, etc) Intermediate experience with enterprise Windows networking (DNS, DHCP, access controls) and security best practices Intermediate experience with Windows Server builds, physical servers and virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V, etc) Experience designing, building, and administering MS SQL Server Experience with NAS and SAN storage and system backup best practices Demonstrated knowledge of System Security Engineering principles Self-motivated, conscientious, with great interpersonal communication skills, and IT team member Work directly with IT team on short and long-term projects and support 1st Shift with after-hours availability for system maintenance, projects and outages is required as needed and assigned
Additional Skills/Knowledge Preferred:
Prefer Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, System Security Engineering or equivalent experience, or combined professional certifications Experience with IT service management systems and providing direct Helpdesk support Experience designing, documenting, and troubleshooting enterprise networks Able to complete an assigned tasks with minimal supervision Desktop hardware and OS break/fix Recent relevant CISCO, Fortinet, CompTIA, and Microsoft certifications (CCNA, CCNP, NSE 3+, Network Security, etc) Powershell Scripting and enterprise Linux experience Cellphone administration Familiarity with Epicor ERP The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
