About the Role We're looking for a hands-on tech problem-solver to keep our store systems running smoothly across all Acme Fresh Market locations. As our Store Systems Specialist, you'll be the go-to person for POS systems, self-checkout, pricing technology, and everything in between — working closely with Store Operations, IT, and our vendor partners. Experience with some of the named systems is preferred. What You'll Do Keep Systems Running Install, configure, and maintain POS hardware (registers, self-checkout, scales, pinpads, printers) across all store locations Manage software updates, patches, and version upgrades — and proactively catch issues before they affect the store Support back-office systems and store network connectivity (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs) Use remote support tools (BeyondTrust/Bomgar, VNC, RDP) to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly Own Pricing & PLU Management Create and maintain PLU files for all departments (produce, deli, bakery, general merch) Audit pricing accuracy across POS, shelf tags, and the item management database Manage tax codes, department structures, and restricted item flags Assist Technology Projects Engage in store technology rollouts from planning through go-live — POS, SCO, digital signage, payment systems, and more Support new store openings and remodels requiring POS installation Support Our Store Teams Serve as first-line tech support for cashiers and front-end associates during store hours Troubleshoot tender issues: cash drawers, credit/debit, EBT, and gift cards Create training materials and knowledge base articles for new features and procedures Handle Compliance & Vendor Work Maintain PCI audit logs and ensure PCI-DSS compliance Support telecom billing (AT&T, Verizon, Granite) and mobile device management What You'll Bring Experience & Credentials Hands-on experience with Toshiba TCx, Toshiba Ace, NCR, or similar grocery POS platforms Payment device experience: EMV, contactless, EBT, and multiple processor coordination CompTIA A+ certification (or equivalent) required Strong networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, Wi-Fi Familiarity with POS logs, .
