Job Description

Job Title:
System Administrator (Unix/Linux)
Location:
Remote (with occasional onsite requirement in Arlington, TX) Work Setup Fully remote role Candidate must be able to travel to the client data center in Arlington, TX within 2 hours if required Data center support is not on-call and only required during business hours Visits are ad hoc, only if issues arise
Standard Hours:
8:00 AM - 5:00 PM CST Key Skills Required Strong Unix/Linux System Administration experience Hands-on experience with: Shell scripting (Unix scripting) Cron job scheduling and troubleshooting Experience in production environment support and monitoring Candidate Profile We are targeting true System Administrators, not candidates focused on DBA or development work.
Candidates should have:
Proven experience supporting production environments Hands-on experience with: System upgrades and patching Environment monitoring and alert handling Incident management and resolution Strong ability to analyze system issues and proactively take corrective action
