Job Description
pasUNITY is seeking a self-starting System Administrator with a strong work ethic and capable of working independent of direct supervision to handle the day-to-day monitoring, maintenance, and technical support of Windows Operating System servers and related systems in its premier hosting environment. As a System Administrator, you'll work as part of a team to help manage and support a large server environment. This role involves maintaining systems across multiple locations, assisting remote users, and responding to customer support requests through a ticketing system. The ideal candidate possesses a two-year or equivalent education, but this may be waived with the appropriate experience or technical education. CompTIA Security+/Network+ (or equivalent) is desired, and you will be required to obtain it within 90 days of hire if you do not have it already. The ideal candidate has experience in physical networking and can support Microsoft Windows operating systems running on Intel x86/x64 platforms. pasUNITY uses the following key technologies and the more you have experience with will make you a better candidate for this position: Experience with Active Directory and Group Policy Windows Server 2016/2019/2022/2025 Server virtualization using Hyper-V Network Load Balancing/Clustering experience SQL Server 2016/2017/2019/2022/2025 Exchange SE/Exchange Online Microsoft Systems Center products Enterprise grade Storage Area Networks (SAN) and Network Attached Storage (NAS) Dell PowerEdge servers, switches, storage and Dell OpenManage software FortiGate firewall appliances Typical duties include monitoring of the environment with the Systems Center suite of monitoring tools, regular maintenance of data center equipment and software to include patch-management and tuning, regular backups, remote software installations/troubleshooting, and implementation of a disaster recovery plan. pasUNITY is an established Frederick, MD based software development, hosting, and sales organization that serves the financial application support needs of hospitality companies around the world. pasUNITY offers a comprehensive benefits package including: Competitive base salary Paid vacations 401k Medical insurance Life insurance ...and many more!
