Systems Administrator TEKsystems $35.00 - $38.00 / hr life insurance, sick time, 401(k), retirement plan United States, Georgia, Atlanta May 13, 2026 We have a client who is looking for a Systems Administrator role!

• Duties & Responsibilities:

• Windows administration
• Firewall administration
• Install and deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot desktop and laptop computer systems, Switches, ISRs, Access Points and other Networking equipment.
• Perform routine ticket management and escalations to drive problems to final resolution.
• Monitors call and e-mail queues to ensure timely incident, event, and service request response and resolution.
• Quickly develop a comprehensive understanding of the applications and infrastructure within the environment and how they impact employees, customers, and the business.
• The are looking for someone with the following experience:
• 7-10 years of total IT experience working their way up from support to Systems admin/network admin level.
• Experience with Windows work stations and Windows 2016 servers troubleshooting. Must have solid Active Directory, understand how groups are created and permissions assigned, OU's etc.
• 7 + year of Networking, leveraging network tools to troubleshoot.

They should be able to use networking tools to solve problems such as configuring a vlan, power cycling a POE port, adopting a network hardware, troubleshoot using network switches, switch controllers, being able to id the client we are troubleshooting so when it gets to the workstation we have the issue pretty pin pointed and we can isolate it.

• Must be able to use access list controller to troubleshoot deeper.
• 2 years or O365 support such as sharing mailbox permissions, creating mailbox for a contractor, maneuvering permissions around for users, doing a message trace is someone is not getting mail

• Pay and Benefits
• The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $38.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
