I. OVERVIEW
The Systems Administrator supports the management, configuration, and maintenance of Supreme Lending's IT infrastructure, including Hybrid Active Directory, Windows Server, VMware virtualization, enterprise storage, system backups, endpoint management, and security vulnerability remediation. This role helps ensure the reliability, performance, and security of on-premises and cloud-connected systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support day-to-day operations and ongoing infrastructure improvements. This role is responsible for maintaining system uptime, patch compliance, and timely response to infrastructure alerts and incidents. This is an On-site role only, No remote option available.
II. EXPECTATIONS
Primary Role Responsibilities:
Administer and support Active Directory, including user accounts, computer objects, security groups, organizational units, and Group Policy. Support Hybrid Active Directory environments and assist with identity-related administration, including account lifecycle activities and audit support. Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot server hardware and software across physical and virtual environments. Administer Windows Server infrastructure (2016, 2019, and 2022), including patching, role configuration, performance monitoring, and issue resolution. Support VMware ESXi/vSphere environments, including virtual machine provisioning, host maintenance, and day-to-day virtualization operations. Monitor, troubleshoot, and respond to infrastructure alerts using tools such as LogicMonitor, Ivanti, or similar enterprise platforms; execute patching cycles and support vulnerability remediation in coordination with internal technology and security teams. Support backup and recovery operations, including Veeam job monitoring, job administration, and restore validation. Assist with storage administration and provisioning across enterprise platforms such as Pure Storage and Dell PowerScale. Support application deployment and endpoint management using tools such as Microsoft Intune, Ivanti Neurons, and Ivanti EPM. Assist with Microsoft 365 platform administration, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Microsoft Purview administration and support. Oversee print management and support ongoing improvements to legacy print services where needed. Develop and maintain technical documentation, standard procedures, and operational runbooks. Participate in on-call rotations and work extended hours as needed to support business continuity. III. Secondary Role Responsibilities Create and troubleshoot PowerShell scripts to support automation, reporting, and routine administrative tasks. Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to support infrastructure delivery, issue resolution, procurement, and deployment activities. Provide support for Microsoft Purview eDiscovery requests based on business or legal needs. Contribute to team development by supporting shared initiatives and helping improve operational processes
IV. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field—or equivalent experience. Microsoft certifications in systems administration preferred. Additional certifications in virtualization, storage, backup, or cloud administration are a plus. 3+ years of experience administering Windows Server environments, including patching, role administration, and performance management. 2+ years of experience supporting Microsoft 365 platforms and managing infrastructure monitoring, alerting, and operational visibility. 1+ years of experience supporting VMware ESXi/vSphere in a production environment. Experience with enterprise backup platforms such as Veeam. Familiarity with enterprise storage platforms such as Pure Storage and/or Dell PowerScale is a plus. Familiarity with endpoint management tools such as Microsoft Intune, Ivanti Neurons, or Ivanti EPM is a plus. Exposure to Azure services such as Entra ID, Azure Virtual Desktop, or related cloud-connected technologies is a plus. Familiarity with Linux server environments is a plus. Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and administration is preferred. Exposure to certificate management in Windows environments is a plus.
