About Team:

Our team works closely with our US stores and eCommerce business to better serve customers by empowering team members, stores, and merchants with technological innovation. From groceries and entertainment to sporting goods and crafts, Walmart U.S. offers an extensive selection that our customers value, whether they shop online at Walmart.com, through one of our mobile apps, or in-store. Focus areas include customers, stores and employees, in-store service, merchant tools, merchant data science, and search and personalization. Must be able to work Weekends and Holidays and have availability for being on-call. We are an Operations that works 12 hour shifts. This is a permanent onsite position. Work Schedule will be Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Wednesday 6AM to 6PM Central. What you'll do: Able to Monitor batch flows and escalate if SLA will be missed. Able to restart 70% of the batch jobs, while taking phone calls and responding to chat messages. Able to monitor the mainframe and open systems where we run our batch jobs, ensuring the systems are stable. Primary responsibilities include 24/7 L2 Support for Walmart & Sams around the global for batch schedulers that run on the mainframe and open systems. Being able to muti-task and support our customers through different channels of communications whether it being a phone call, Zoom, Slack or Team. What you'll bring: Mainframe experience is helpful but not required. Control-M experience is helpful but not required. Able to multi-task by using many different communications channels. Knowledge of JCL(job control language) is helpful but not required. How to type and take phone calls.
