DESCRIPTION

Responsible for design enhancement and new business applications and information systems solutions through integration of technical and business requirements. Serve as technical designer to identify best solution and resulting technical specifications within limits of code environment, link Business Analyst needs and Architect definition to technical solutions. Develop detailed technical specifications and designs for waterfall/XP projects / system enhancements. Provide application domain knowledge to the ADM team. Manage unstable applications / systems by helping to resolve incidents and issues. Support infrastructure first builds with Solution Architects and Infrastructure Engineers. Review, guide, troubleshoot and resolve contentious issues escalated during implementation. Evaluate integration of Saa

packages to current environment. Develop operating procedures and user manuals for transition into routine operations. Enable building of knowledge databases for technology, solutions and domain areas. Work with architecture, application services, infrastructure, release management and other relevant stakeholders to enable smooth deployment. Continuously work on capturing and transferring tacit knowledge to vendors and knowledge management systems.

Telecommuting:

Flex Role (3 days in office / 2 days remote).

REQUIREMENTS

This position requires a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics Engineering, or a related field and 5 years of experience as an IT Specialist, IT Consultant, Product Specialist, or in a related occupation. Must have experience with the following skills: (1) Cloud computing, SaaS, IaaS, and PaaS technologies; (2) Integration Technologies such as SSIS, Mulesoft, Control-M, Kafka, IBM MQ; (3) Service Oriented Architecture principles, including SOAP and REST; (4) Web Technologies like HTML, CSS, Java, ASP.Net, PHP, Ruby, and C#; (5) Rapid prototyping; (6) SDLC Methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and Iterative Development; and (7) System performance management.

RATE OF PAY
