This role focuses on maintaining production environments, resolving platform incidents, and collaborating with engineering teams to support SIP based communication services. The position requires hands on troubleshooting across Linux servers, networking, and VoIP signaling within a live production environment. Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve issues impacting VoIP platforms running on Linux servers
• Diagnose application, operating system, and network related incidents
• Capture and review packet traces using Wireshark to identify SIP signaling problems
• Collect and analyze logs and trace files from Linux systems
• Implement updates, patches, and configuration changes in production environments
• Create documentation outlining procedures for system changes and maintenance activities
• Work with internal engineering teams to address defects and technical improvements
• Communicate technical findings and resolution progress with stakeholders
• Participate in scheduled maintenance windows for upgrades and system updates Required Qualifications
• Minimum 5 years supporting Linux server environments such as Red Hat or similar distributions
• Strong knowledge of VoIP technologies and SIP signaling
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and troubleshooting techniques
• Experience analyzing packet captures using Wireshark
• Ability to gather and review system logs and traces from Linux command line tools
• Comfortable working within Linux CLI environments
• Strong communication and documentation skills Preferred Experience
• Linux scripting
• Exposure to PHP based applications
• Familiarity with Diameter protocol
• Experience with VMware vSphere environments
• Working knowledge of Cisco IOS Engineers who enjoy troubleshooting complex Linux and VoIP environments and supporting production communication platforms are encouraged to apply.
