L2 MSOPS System Engineer (Managed Services Operations) (Cranston, RI)

Level 2 - MSOPS Systems Engineer Responsibilities Administer and optimize MSP operational platforms and integrations (RMM, PSA, documentation, BCDR, CSP). Serve as primary RMM owner, including scripting, automation, monitoring policies, and patching. Develop and deploy automation workflows to improve operational efficiency. Manage Microsoft 365 licensing, provisioning, and identity sync. Troubleshoot advanced system issues, API failures, and automation errors. Maintain documentation, standards, and configuration histories. Coordinate with vendors and leadership on escalations and platform improvements. Conduct root-cause analysis and implement long-term fixes. Lead testing and rollout of new scripts, automation, and platform features. Provide L2 escalation support and mentor L1 engineers. Ensure full PSA documentation of tickets, changes, and resolutions. Perform scheduled firewall reviews and maintenance.

Requirements & Nice-to-Haves Required/Preferred:

2-5 years of IT or system administration experience.
