Job Description

Title:
Server Engineer Location:
Columbia, SC Partial Onsite:
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday Onsite and as Needed.
Hours:
8-5 - OT is required for any disaster recovery exercises and proof of concept
Duration:
6 Months C2 Eligibility is Required- Must be a
US Citizen Interviews:
In Person Day To Day:
Maintaining the environment includes keeping up with hardware EOL and renewals. Maintaining DR readiness to include meeting and planning with customers. During disaster recovery exercises able to maintain, coordinate and troubleshoot issues at a fast pace.
Team:
Team currently consists of 3 people. We solely support and maintain the FEP systems for contingency and DR purposes. Execute at least 4 disaster recovery exercises a year one of which is audited and executed 24/7.
Required Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other job related degree. or 4 years of job related work experience or 2 years of job related experience plus an associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other job related degree.
Required Experience:
8 years of server or other job related experience
Required Skills:
Disaster Recovery Management Network troubleshooting AIX and Linux Server management.
