Job Description
About The Role The IT Intern will support IT Staff in all aspects of the IT systems and environment. This includes the software and hardware upgrades, basic user support, and daily functions of the IT department. This position also provides assistance with iSeries support and operations as needed. Responsibilities Assists with maintenance and administration of computer networks and related computing environments including computer hardware, systems software, applications software, and all configurations. Provide basic client support. Performs daily operation and maintenance of the network environment. Install, troubleshoot, test and upgrade network hardware and software. Maintain detailed documentation of network changes, configurations and standard work and provides usage instructions to users. Other duties as assigned. Candidate Requirements Student currently pursuing an IT related degree. Experience with Windows OS, Windows Office Products, Active Directory, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SQL and Switches a plus. Optional experience includes Mitel Phone Systems, Cisco Routers, iSeries (AS400). Self-directed with a knowledge of a variety of technologies and applications. Possess the ability to develop constructive and cooperative working relationships within all levels of Trail King. Excellent oral and written communication and comprehension skills. Organized project management skills including critical thinking, problem solving, active listening and prioritization. Analytical thinking, and confidentiality a must. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.Work Environment :
