Great outcomes start with great people and Armor has an exciting opportunity for a Assistant Health Services Administrator to join our team at Bell County Jail in Belton, Texas. Responsibilities Assists the HSA in directing and coordinating administrative functions and enforcing adherence to federal, state, correctional health care standards and institutional regulations and guidelines in the provision of services.
Reviews administrative polices to ensure adherence to contract and regulatory requirements and report any concerns or deficiencies to the HSA.
Assists in recruiting professional staff and independent contractors as required.
Reviews annual budgets for the facility and perform periodic cost and productivity analysis for the HSA. Maintains network development to ensure contract compliance and budgetary compliance. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Public Administration required
Strong health care administrator background with a clinical credential (RN, LPN, Behavioral Health Professional) is ideal in this environment
Willing to travel 10%
Three years of administrative healthcare experience required
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
Solid understanding of data analytics, with the ability to generate, analyze and interpret data.
Excellent time management and organizational skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
Experience leading a team of healthcare professionals
Ability to pass pre-employment Level 2 clearance to include background check and drug screen
