Key ResponsibilitiesConfigure, deploy, and support enterprise network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, wireless controllers, access points, and SAN technologiesAdminister and support both physical and virtual server environmentsConfigure and manage enterprise‑grade firewalls, including routing, VPNs, encryption, and security policies following industry best practicesMonitor network performance and availability using tools such as SolarWinds, Servers Alive, and FortiCloudPerform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and issue resolution across complex Layer 2/3 and physical network topologiesApply firmware updates, security patches, and system upgrades to critical infrastructureDevelop and maintain detailed documentation related to network topology, configurations, changes, patching, and service recordsEvaluate network architecture and performance impacts to applications and end‑user experienceCollaborate with vendors and service providers, documenting findings, recommendations, and resolutionsEnsure compliance with data confidentiality policies and applicable state and federal regulations
