Job Requirements Charlottesville, VA Top Secret/SCI CI Polygraph Mid Level Career (5+ yrs experience) Salary not specified Join Premium to unlock estimated salaries Job Description About the Program We are hiring for a multi-year prime contract to enhance, sustain, and secure a classified enterprise web application supporting a Department of Defense mission partner. The platform serves a large community of users and is engineered with a modern stack: Angular/React front ends, Java/Python/Node.js services, containerized microservices, PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch data stores, and CI/CD deployment into a government cloud environment. The program runs Agile, ships regularly, and operates under a formal Risk Management Framework (RMF) accreditation. About the Role You will own the infrastructure that keeps our federal mission partner's, mission-critical application running across two separate government cloud environments. This position is designated as the Information System Security Officer (ISSO) of record, making you the day-to-day security conscience of the platform in addition to its primary systems administrator. What You'll Do

• Design, implement, and manage project infrastructure to ensure system reliability, scalability, and security.
• Install, configure, and patch system components; monitor and optimize system performance and capacity; resolve issues as they arise.
• Maintain system documentation, security controls, and compliance/ATO documentation.
• Perform security scans and execute data ingests and test scripts supporting releases.
• Serve as the ISSO of record — owning RMF artifacts, POA&Ms, STIG application, and coordination with the government CIO on the system's accreditation lifecycle.
• Partner with developers and DevOps engineers to integrate security into the pipeline from the earliest stages. What You Bring
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related technical field (four additional years of specialized experience may substitute).
• 3+ years of systems administration experience in secure, enterprise, or DoD environments.
• Experience supporting Agile software development teams.
• Background supporting DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, and common development tools (Git, Jenkins, Jira).
• Familiarity with STIGs, RMF, DISA guidance, and other DoD compliance frameworks.
• Working knowledge of the ATO process. Certifications (Required at Time of Award)
