Job Description

Job DescriptionECS is seeking a COOP Systems Administrator - Junior to support the Army National Guard's mission-critical IT operations and cybersecurity initiatives in Fairfax, VA. The Army National Guard (ARNG) Enterprise Network Operations and Cybersecurity Support (ENOCS) program delivers comprehensive enterprise IT infrastructure, WAN, cybersecurity, and associated services to the ARNG and its mission partners. The program supports more than 120,000 users and 141,000 endpoints across approximately 2,800 sites spanning 54 states and territories, enabling Title 10 and Title 32 missions, domestic emergency response operations, mobilization readiness, and classified SIPRNet operations.

Task 4 — Enterprise Operations Support — provides 24/7/365 network monitoring, control, and management from the
RCC-ARNG
Network Operations Center (NOC) over classified and unclassified networks, delivering DoDIN services including data, voice, and video across the ARNG's distributed enterprise infrastructure.

ResponsibilitiesAssist in monitoring and maintaining backup systems to ensure data integrity and availability.

Participate in disaster recovery exercises and real-world recovery tasks, documenting outcomes as per COOP procedures.

Update and maintain recovery documentation, ensuring compliance with operational standards.

Support the testing of restoration processes to validate recovery capabilities.

Collaborate with senior administrators to enhance disaster recovery strategies and processes.

Execute assigned recovery tasks under supervision during continuity exercises.

Contribute to the development of recovery plans and procedures.

Assist in the management of system recovery tools and technologies.
Required QualificationsClearance:
Secret Eligible requiredS. Citizenship requiredDoD 8140.03
Compliance:
DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF) Work Role 411-Technical Support Specialist at the Basic proficiency levelCertifications (one or more required): A+, Network+Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or related field.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in cloud administration and database management.

Experience managing Oracle database servers within Windows Server environments.

Familiarity with AWS and Azure cloud platforms.

Knowledge of security compliance requirements and Information Assurance/Security tasks.
