Job Description

Job DescriptionECS is seeking a COOP Systems Administrator - Journeyman to support the Army National Guard's mission-critical IT infrastructure and cybersecurity operations. The Army National Guard (ARNG) Enterprise Network Operations and Cybersecurity Support (ENOCS) program delivers comprehensive enterprise IT infrastructure, WAN, cybersecurity, and associated services to the ARNG and its mission partners. The program supports more than 120,000 users and 141,000 endpoints across approximately 2,800 sites spanning 54 states and territories, enabling Title 10 and Title 32 missions, domestic emergency response operations, mobilization readiness, and classified SIPRNet operations.

Task 4 — Enterprise Operations Support — provides 24/7/365 network monitoring, control, and management from the
RCC-ARNG
Network Operations Center (NOC) over classified and unclassified networks, delivering DoDIN services including data, voice, and video across the ARNG's distributed enterprise infrastructure.

ResponsibilitiesValidate backup operations and assist in disaster recovery testing activities.

Update continuity documentation under supervision to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Support restoration exercises and monitor backup job statuses.

Document recovery procedures following established continuity plans and operational standards.

Assist in maintaining and configuring network systems, including LAN/WAN networks.

Collaborate with team members to enhance secure communications systems.

Provide technical support and guidance for web server administration using Apache and Tomcat.

Ensure compliance with government agency standards, including DHS NOC operations.

DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF) Work Role 411-Technical Support Specialist at the Intermediate proficiency levelCertifications (one or more required): CND, GFACT, GSEC, Security+
Education:
Bachelors in [Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering]Minimum of 12 years of experience in systems administration and infrastructure managementExpertise in network configuration, including Cisco routers for LAN/WAN networksProficient in web server administration with Apache and TomcatExperience with secure communications systems for government agencies
