Job Description

Job DescriptionECS is seeking an Identity Services Technician [Legacy AD] - Journeyman to support the Army National Guard's enterprise network operations and cybersecurity efforts. This role is critical in ensuring the secure and efficient management of identity services across the ARNG's extensive IT infrastructure.

This position is contingent upon contract award.

The Army National Guard (ARNG) Enterprise Network Operations and Cybersecurity Support (ENOCS) program delivers comprehensive enterprise IT infrastructure, WAN, cybersecurity, and associated services to the ARNG and its mission partners. The program supports more than 120,000 users and 141,000 endpoints across approximately 2,800 sites spanning 54 states and territories, enabling Title 10 and Title 32 missions, domestic emergency response operations, mobilization readiness, and classified SIPRNet operations.

Task 4 — Enterprise Operations Support — provides 24/7/365 network monitoring, control, and management from the
RCC-ARNG
Network Operations Center (NOC) over classified and unclassified networks, delivering DoDIN services including data, voice, and video across the ARNG's distributed enterprise infrastructure.

ResponsibilitiesAdminister and maintain Active Directory and Entra ID environments, ensuring seamless identity management operations.

Execute account provisioning and deprovisioning processes, adhering to DoD identity governance standards.

Manage and enforce group policies, supporting identity synchronization and federation services.

Validate access authorization documentation and enforce role-based access controls effectively.

Maintain comprehensive audit logs and support regular entitlement reviews.

Troubleshoot authentication issues, ensuring compliance with NIPRNet/SIPRNet access policies.

Adhere to enterprise configuration management standards, supporting secure identity operations.

Compliance:
DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF) Work Role 451-System Administrator at the Intermediate proficiency levelCertifications (one or more required): Cloud+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+,
SSCPEducation:
Bachelors in [Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering]Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in enterprise identity and access management within DoD or Federal networks.

Proven experience with Active Directory and Entra ID management, including account provisioning and deprovisioning.

Expertise in managing group policies and supporting identity synchronization and federation services.

Ability to enforce role-based access controls and maintain audit logs in compliance with DoD standards.
