Job Description

Job DescriptionECS is seeking a Network Administrator - Journeyman to support enterprise telecommunications and network infrastructure for the Army National Guard (ARNG) ENOCS Task 4 contract. The Army National Guard (ARNG) Enterprise Network Operations and Cybersecurity Support (ENOCS) program delivers comprehensive enterprise IT infrastructure, WAN, cybersecurity, and associated services to the ARNG and its mission partners. The program supports more than 120,000 users and 141,000 endpoints across approximately 2,800 sites spanning 54 states and territories, enabling Title 10 and Title 32 missions, domestic emergency response operations, mobilization readiness, and classified SIPRNet operations.

Task 4 — Enterprise Operations Support — provides 24/7/365 network monitoring, control, and management from the
RCC-ARNG
Network Operations Center (NOC) over classified and unclassified networks, delivering DoDIN services including data, voice, and video across the ARNG's distributed enterprise infrastructure.

ResponsibilitiesImplement and maintain enterprise network infrastructure to support DoDIN connectivity and secure transport services.

Execute configuration changes and apply necessary firmware and security updates to network devices.

Monitor network device health and performance metrics to ensure optimal operation.

Support network outage restoration activities and troubleshoot connectivity issues.

Document network modifications in compliance with established configuration management procedures.

Ensure all network activities adhere to DoDIN operational and cybersecurity standards.

Collaborate with team members to improve network efficiency and security.

Assist in the development and implementation of network policies and procedures.

Compliance:
DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF) Work Role 441-Network Operations Specialist at the Intermediate proficiency levelCertifications (one or more required): CEH, Cloud+, GCIH, GICSP, GSEC, Security+,
SSCPEducation:
Bachelors in [Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering]Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in implementing and maintaining enterprise telecommunications and network infrastructure within DoD or Federal environments.

Demonstrated experience with DoDIN connectivity and secure transport services.

Proven ability to execute approved configuration changes and apply security updates.

Experience in monitoring device health and supporting outage restoration activities.

Familiarity with documenting network changes in accordance with configuration management standards.
