Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Systems Administrator to join our innovative IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our complex IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal system performance, security, and reliability. Your expertise will drive the seamless operation of our systems, supporting business objectives through effective system design, architecture, and administration. Manage and monitor diverse operating systems including Windows, Linux, and UNIX environments to ensure stability and security. Oversee system architecture design and implementation, including virtualization platforms such as VMware and ESXi, to optimize resource utilization. Performing project work and server builds, upgrades, and migrations in a fast-paced environment. Conducting troubleshooting of Networks and Windows Operating Systems, AD, File/Print and Exchange. Developing documentation required to support a program's technical issues and training situations. Conducting troubleshooting of Networks including VLAN's, WLAN's and wireless access points. Manage network infrastructure components including DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls, load balancing solutions, and computer networking protocols to secure connectivity. Implement security best practices by configuring firewalls, VPNs, information security protocols, and performing regular vulnerability assessments to safeguard data assets. Utilize cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure for scalable infrastructure deployment while integrating RESTful APIs for seamless service communication. Provide system engineering support by designing robust system architectures that meet current needs while being adaptable for future growth. A minimum of three (3) years' experience Preferred minimum of 2 years of MSP experience Extensive experience with system administration across multiple operating systems including Windows Server environments. Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware ESXi and virtual machine management. Proficiency in managing storage solutions with RAID controllers and SAN/NAS devices. Deep understanding of network protocols including
DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP
; experience configuring VPNs, firewalls, load balancers; expertise in computer networking fundamentals. Hands-on experience with cloud services like AWS (Amazon Web Services) and Azure cloud platform management. Understanding of IT infrastructure components such as SAN/NAS storage systems; experience with load balancing techniques to ensure high availability. Strong grasp of information security practices—firewall configuration, VPN setup, vulnerability assessments—and adherence to best practices in cybersecurity.
