IT Systems Administrator

New Glarus Brewing Company is hiring a full-time, onsite IT Systems Administrator to join our growing team. We are seeking an experienced, dependable and detail-oriented IT professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. This is not a remote or hybrid position. The successful candidate will work onsite at the brewery supporting daily IT operations across all departments, helping ensure reliable technology systems and an exceptional experience for our team members. The IT Systems Administrator will be responsible for installing and updating systems, troubleshooting technical issues, and supporting hardware, software, network infrastructure, cybersecurity systems, and point-of-sale technology. Daily responsibilities include responding to IT support requests, configuring equipment for team members, assisting with new system implementations, maintaining servers and virtualization environments, and performing other duties as assigned. You will also work closely with internal IT/Automation team members and external IT partners. Qualified candidates should have an Associate or Technical degree in a related field and 5-7 years of professional IT systems administration experience, including in IT support, help desk, or a similar role. Candidates should have strong working knowledge of Microsoft systems including Windows OS, Office Suite, Active Directory, and Exchange, as well as familiarity with iOS devices and virtualization platforms such as Hyper-V or VMware. The ideal candidate will possess strong troubleshooting and organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Applicants should also be able to safely stand, bend, and lift equipment as needed. General work hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., with flexibility as needed to support brewery operations.
