LOCATION
Administration Office, 600 Edgewood Drive, Maumelle, AR 72113 Academics Plus Charter Schools, Inc. (APCSI) is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Lead TechnologyAssistant to fill a rewarding position supporting technology in K12 schools. Great retirement plan with Arkansas Teachers Retirement System. Time off during Fall, Thanksgiving, Christmas/New Years and Spring Break, plus 4 additional holidays. Twelve days sick leave, two of which can be taken as personal days. Ten days' vacation after the 1st year of employment. Eligible for yearly attendance and merit bonus after the 1st year of employment. Training and competitive pay offered, as well as potential for professional growth. The ideal candidate for the Lead Technology Assistant position should have the ability to provide technical support in a responsive, helpful, courteous, and tactful manner leading to timely and appropriate problem resolution or escalation.
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or GED Two Years of College Preferred Demonstrated field experience working with end-user technical support in a responsive, helpful, courteous, and tactful manner leading to timely and appropriate problem resolution or escalation. Ability to mentor, train and guide other associates toward the completion of work. Wide range of computer hardware and software experience in a networked environment and a willingness to learn new and emerging technologies as they are introduced to the schools Demonstrated knowledge and field experience with basic applications including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases Demonstrated field experience working with confidential and time-sensitive matters Demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills Demonstrated organization skills, with attention to detail

Technology Supervisor
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain professional behavior, appearance, and work ethic to represent the school district in a positive manner at all times. B. Demonstrate effective customer service strategies to all district personnel. C. Maintain district computers and networks. D. Install new switches, servers, and applications necessary for day to day faculty and student access. E. Install new workstations, laptops, printers, and peripherals, preparing them for use; including recycling F. Provide first-response technical support for the district technology, including testing and troubleshooting workstations, laptops, mobile computers, printers, projectors, SmartBoards and peripherals; G. Install, test and troubleshoot software applications (instructional and administrative), being conscious of software requirements, license restrictions, and end- user needs H. Maintain personal and professional technology skills, keeping current with industry trends and bringing that knowledge forward for the good of the organization I. Manage the computer labs, keeping them ready for student use J. Help manage and coordinate online testing K. Manage and maintain accurate building technology inventory records and counts L. Cooperate and coordinate with other members of the technology program M. Communicate positively with students, parents, visitors and staff. N. Effectively and positively communicate orally and in writing O. Maintain a positive attitude and represent the school in a positive manner at all times P. Providing mentoring, training and guidance to subordinate personnel for the completion of information technology work essential for school operations. Q. All other duties as assigned
