Job Description

ITS Lead Salary Range:
$95,000 to $116,000 per year Ops Tech Alliance (OTA) is seeking an IT Support (ITS) Lead to provide the highest level of end-user support on a multi-site IT services contract supporting the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center (DLIFLC) at the Presidio of Monterey, CA. The ITS Lead handles service requests escalated from lower tiers and develops solutions for complex network, desktop, and server problems. This position is contingent upon contract award. Responsibilities Provide Tier 3 support onsite, remotely, by phone, and via email for complex desktop, server, and network issues. Analyze existing systems and make proactive recommendations for improvements. Develop, maintain, and implement systems, applications, and networking configurations. Lead and mentor Tier 1 and Tier 2 technicians across DLIFLC sites. Coordinate with Network, Cybersecurity, DevOps, and Data Center teams to restore service and resolve root causes. Maintain documentation, knowledge base articles, and standard operating procedures. Required Qualifications BA/BS from an accredited college or university with 5+ years of related experience, OR AA/AS with 7+ years, OR 9+ years of related technical experience in lieu of degree. Active IAT Level II certification (one of: CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, or SSCP) plus applicable CE/OS certification. Windows or Apple Certified Technician. Advanced knowledge of current Microsoft desktop and server operating systems, including Microsoft SQL, Exchange, SharePoint, and other server applications. Advanced knowledge of computer and server hardware; familiarity with network troubleshooting. Hands-on experience with Ivanti Management Suite (or equivalent ITSM platform), Microsoft SCCM, or Jamf Pro. U.S. Citizenship; ability to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC). Desired Qualifications Prior DoD or Army IT services experience, ideally at DLIFLC or similar training environment. ITIL Foundation certification. Experience supporting mixed macOS, Windows, and iOS fleets at scale. • Active Secret clearance (a plus, not required).
