Temporary assignment:
June 1, 2026 - August 7, 2026 8 hrs/day•hours may change depending on the needs of the District Job Description /Essential Elements:
Print Minimum Qualifications & Abilities:
High school diploma, A+ Computer Certificate desired. Minimum of one (1) year experience in computer/network related repair and analysis. Knowledge of Microsoft's desktop operating systems, computer hardware, and configuring of necessary equipment, including, but not limited to computers, servers, printers, tablets, and mobile devices. Ability to diagnose and do minor repair of audio/visual and office computer equipment. Ability to understand, analyze, and apply information obtained from technical manuals without direction. Ability to maintain cooperative, harmonious, and tactful relationships with staff and vendors. Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing. Possess valid California Driver's License with acceptable DMV printout.Essential Functions:
Provides individual and group on-site help, answers questions in person and by telephone or electronic messaging to students/staff/clients. Installs hardware and peripheral components, including, but not limited to monitors, CD/DVD drives, modems, keyboards, printers, disk drives, and scanners. Provides support to basic computer and peripheral equipment setups and installations of computer hardware, software, and other equipment in instructional settings or office workstations. Assists senior technical staff in diagnosing device or system malfunctions to separate operator, hardware, and software problems. Assists users in solving problems, researches hardware/software problems, and directs to the appropriate staff to resolve. Maintains trouble tickets, updates, and status within the District's ticket tracking system. Performs other duties as assigned by Superintendent or designee.Requirements / Qualifications
