We are seeking an IT Support Technician who will provide technical assistance, trouble shoot technical issues and maintain & repair devices. •This is not a remote position •Job description: Provide front line support for Windows Servers, Windows laptops and desktops, monitors, docks, printers, scanners, and peripherals. Build, image, and deploy workstations using standard configurations Administer Microsoft 365, including user and group management, licensing, conditional access, Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and MFA. Manage on site Active Directory, OU design, Group Policy Objects, and domain joins Maintain multiple Windows Server instances (physical & virtual), including roles such as AD DS, DNS, file and print sharing, and Hyper V Perform routine server tasks such as patching, backups and restores, log review, capacity checks, and hardware swaps Manage networking gear and configurations, including Sonicwall firewalls, Ubiquiti UniFi switches and APs, and site VPNs Configure VLANs, inter VLAN routing, subnets, DHCP scopes, DNS records, NAT, port forwarding, and QoS as needed Monitor and troubleshoot connectivity for wired and wireless networks, user access, and site to site tunnels Install and configure printers and print servers, including driver packages and print queues Create and maintain documentation, standard operating procedures, diagrams, and asset inventory Support security and compliance best practices, including least privilege, patch compliance, and secure remote access Assist with server room work such as racking equipment, labeling, and cable management Support VoIP phones and audio/video setups
Required Qualifications:
Ability to document procedures 3+ years in an IT support or IT operations role in a Microsoft end user and server environment Strong experience with Microsoft 365 admin, Microsoft Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams Solid knowledge of Active Directory, OU structure, GPOs, and Windows Server administration Hands on networking experience with firewalls and switches. Ubiquiti UniFi experience is strongly preferred Proficiency with DNS, DHCP, VLANs, subnets, CIDR, NAT, and VPNs Confident working on hardware. Comfortable replacing laptop screens, keyboards, RAM, storage, and batteries. Able to swap server components such as disks, NICs, PSUs, and fans Skilled at printer setup and troubleshooting in both local and networked scenarios Proven troubleshooting methodology and clear communication with nontechnical users Able to lift and move up to 40 lbs. and work in a server rack environment Work Location:
