Job Description

Department Information Technology Services (ITS) Responsibilities The ITS Student Computing Support center is where students can obtain assistance with their personally owned computing devices. Together with a small staff of other Student technicians, you'll support FSU campus-wide IT services, like connecting to Wi-Fi, registering devices for use on the campus dormitory network, installing and using the Microsoft 365 Suite of applications, migrating data to newly purchased devices, using the Virtual Lab, etc. During maintenance periods the SCS technician will assist in refreshing student computer lab software installations. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent and 1 year technology experience. A valid Florida or Georgia driver's license Preferred Qualifications Current FSU student. Helpful Who is an ideal candidate for this position? Someone who likes to tinker. The problem solver. Fixing IT problems takes an inquisitive mind and intelligent search engine prompts. This position needs a patient, understanding individual who can calmly explain what is happening and how to fix it. Strong customer service skills can offset less IT experience. Anticipated Salary Range Hourly rate:
