Job Description

We are looking for an IT Help Desk Technician to join our team! Day to day activities include but not limited to: Network Monitoring VMWare/Microsoft Server Monitoring PC/Thin Client troubleshooting Application support Duties employee will be responsible for but not limited to: Provide emergency 24 x 7 on-call support on a rotating basis
Managing Simple and Complex Networks Managing Network/File Security Providing Phone, Email, and Onsite Support Skills and Proficiencies:
Degree in Networking, Computer Science, Information Technology, and/or technical certifications for any of the following, but not limited to: MCSE, MCSA, MCP, CCNA, A+, Net+, Security+ At least 2-3 years of experience working with networking equipment specifically, including maintenance and upgrades. Significant experience working with Linux and Windows servers and network monitoring tools. Strong knowledge and troubleshooting experience with PC hardware setup/configuration, Windows Operating Systems, Active Directory, Windows Server Operating Systems, MS Office Products, MS Exchange On Premise, Backup Exec, MSSQL, VMWare, VPN, RDP, PBX systems, and smartphone technologies. Strong knowledge of networking, including: TCP/IP, Vlans, Ethernet, switching, routing and routing protocols, wireless technologies, and DNS. Strong technical aptitude and ability to research & solve complex issues independently. Must have ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously in an organized and efficient manner with minimal supervision. Willingness and ability to learn new skills and apply them as needed. Ability to troubleshoot and take ownership of requested service issues to determine root cause and proper solution to resolve issue. Ability to effectively communicate issues and resolutions to all levels of the organization. Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive customer and internal information. IND123
