//www.rubinbrown.com/ The Technology Support Intern will serve as a member of the Technology Services Help Desk team providing timely, courteous, and expert administrative support to all Firm users. This will be a regular part-time position enabling the individual to be hands-on with basic technology support, while also having an opportunity to learn advanced technology support skills which will allow a transition to a fill-time position if one becomes available. This internship will start in June 2026 with a tentative end date of June 2027. The intern must be actively enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited university with a major in Information Technology or similar field of study. The student should be a junior or senior and possess strong written and verbal communications skills as well as strong technical and organizational skills. High level of integrity, accuracy, dependability, enthusiasm, and confidentiality. Ability to prioritize tasks and handle numerous assignments simultaneously. Proficient in MS Windows and MS Office software. Ability to work a minimum of at least 24 hours per week with no maximum - OT available Assists the Help Desk team to deliver technology support. Perform inventory counts of hardware and software as requested. Unpack technical equipment validating components. Tag electronic equipment with asset (identification) tags. Image and install operating systems and software applications in accordance with Firm standards. Deploy and connect equipment to team members. Assists with troubleshooting hardware/software issues All other duties, as assigned. Strong customer service skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent time management skills, including sense of urgency and proactive approach. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Ability to work on and successfully complete multiple projects at the same time. Strict adherence to professional ethics. The typical operating office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Ability to work extra hours as determined by the workload and expectations. Travel for this position will be minimal.
