Reports to the Director of Network and Users Services and has no supervisory responsibilities. Qualifications - Education Associate's degree in computer science or engineering preferred. Qualifications - Experience At least one year of comparable work experience is required. Familiarity and hands-on experience with PC hardware and software applications, networking, and telecommunications. Qualifications - Skills

• Able to carry out a variety of tasks concurrently and move from one task to another as required
• Able to work under the pressure of deadlines
• Able to exercise sound judgement and take initiative as appropriate
• Able to communicate effectively with people lacking technical skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to safely lift up to 40 pounds and climb small ladders, as necessary for equipment installation and maintenance
• Sufficient dexterity to be able to repair equipment efficiently
• Able to crawl under tables
