ABOUT THIS POSITION
We are helping an innovative, on-demand autonomous ride-hailing company hire TeleOperations Operators (Technical Support for Vehicle Operations team) to support its growing fleet of autonomous vehicles. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth operation of self-driving technology by monitoring vehicles, providing remote assistance when needed, and contributing to the ongoing improvement of the TeleOperations system. As a TeleOperations Operator, you will be the "human-in-the-loop," bridging the gap between autonomous driving systems and real-world scenarios that require intervention. This position is perfect for candidates with a strong technical aptitude, excellent situational awareness, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee a fleet of autonomous vehicles in real-time, providing remote guidance when necessary to ensure safe operation. Take control of vehicles in complex scenarios, following strict safety protocols and regulatory guidelines. Assist in gathering performance metrics and reporting observations to improve system functionality. Work cross-functionally to provide feedback on TeleOps tools, usability, and overall system performance to enhance the operator interface. Follow company protocols and regulatory requirements to maintain high operational standards. Effectively monitor autonomous vehicle operations Respond to and manage critical mission needs. Assist the fleet of vehicles by providing remote guidance in complex situations Assist with testing and data collection Work closely with SW, QA, and UX to improve the TeleOps Interface. Willingness to work flexible shift hours
REQUIREMENTS
Excellent driving history and no criminal history 2+ years of experience working in operations or a fast-paced environment Experience working in a cross-functional team Excellent computer skills and problem solving ability Excellent written and verbal communication Positive attitude with a growth mindset
BONUS QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with working in the autonomous vehicle industry Efficient with working on the Windows 10 OS Bachelor degree in STEM, Analytics, or related fields Basic knowledge of Windows, Linux, Software/QA testing Basic understanding of data analysis to help build out and analyze metrics Basic QA testing experience Experience playing video games
PAY:
starting hourly rate: $25/hour.
TRAINING & WORK SCHEDULES
Training Schedule (not flexible): Candidates must be available for one of the following training shifts for the first 8 weeks.
AM:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM
  • 4:30
PM PM:
Monday-Friday, 3:30 PM
  • 12:00
AM Post-Training Shift Structure:
After training and initial assignment (assigned by 2 weeks before the end of training), candidates will be placed into one of the following shifts: 1:30 AM
  • 10:00 AM 10:00 AM
  • 6:30 PM 12:00 PM
  • 8:30 PM 5:30 PM
  • 2:00 AM After this initial assignment, you will be able to sign up for different shifts going forward.

From $25.00 per hour
