  • Overview:
  • We are seeking a motivated IT Field Service Technician to provide on-site technical support for a national home improvement retail client. This role is ideal for a self-starter with strong customer service skills, technical troubleshooting experience, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced field environment.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • + Provide onsite support for IT equipment including POS systems, desktops, laptops, printers, thin clients, access points, servers, and network switches + Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues within defined service levels + Travel daily within a 25-100+ mile radius to service client locations + Document all work performed, including issues, resolutions, and ticket updates + Manage triage, troubleshooting, and resolution of technical issues + Communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users + Support cabling work including copper and fiber (terminations preferred) + Ensure timely completion of service calls and maintain high customer satisfaction + Occasionally work at heights (20-25 feet); training provided + Understand basic AC/DC and backup power concepts •
Qualifications:
  • + Minimum 1 year of IT technical support experience + CompTIA A+ certification (required) + CompTIA Network+ (preferred) + Experience with Windows, macOS, and/or Linux systems + Familiarity with networking and hardware troubleshooting + Strong time management and documentation skills + Valid driver's license required + Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
