Tier 1 Support Technician

About us Televoi is an all-inclusive, managed, 24/7 outsourced IT, Cybersecurity, & Compliance provider that offers SaaS/IaaS. We are looking for a friendly, customer-oriented IT Technician to join our team and provide technical support to our customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, installing and configuring computer systems, diagnosing network and system problems, and providing technical assistance over the phone, via email, remotely, or in person. The ideal candidate should have excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication skills, analytical skills, and a passion for technology. A candidate must also be willing and able to travel on-site to client offices and provide support as needed. Reliable transportation is required. This is a salaried position. A successful candidate must be able to pass a BCI and FBI background check.

Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot hardware and software issues. Install and configure computer systems and networks. Provide technical support to users. Maintain and repair computer systems and networks. Test new software and hardware to ensure compatibility with existing systems. Perform system backups and disaster recovery operations. Monitor system performance and security. Deploy and maintain cloud hosted VOIP system. Provide technical assistance to users via phone, email, or in person. Understanding of networks (switches, firewalls, AP's, DNS, IP, VPN, WiFi, etc..) Deploy, understand, & maintain DNS/File/Print Servers & AD. Deploy network architecture and builds.
