ABOUT THE ROLE
Our client is seeking a TDR Field Technician for an 12-week contract based in Columbus, OH. As a TDR Field Technician, you will work on-site as part of a field support team to upgrade IT infrastructure in preparation for an Epic system Go-Live. You will play a key role in PC and printer refreshes, environment device mapping, running Epic application test scripts, and providing hands-on support to clinical, business, and IT staff. This position requires strong technical skills, outstanding customer service, and the ability to travel to multiple healthcare facilities. You will report to Medasource Team Lead and client leadership throughout the project. Flexibility to work overtime and weekends is necessary, with a standard schedule of Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, totaling 45 hours per week. Reliable transportation is required, and mileage expenses will be reimbursed.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Provide excellent on-site customer service and IT support to end-users in fast-paced healthcare environments Perform PC and printer refreshes, including setup, relocation, and deployment of new IT equipment Conduct environment device mapping and run Epic application test scripts to ensure correct application installation Troubleshoot and resolve ad-hoc IT support issues for clinical, business, and IT staff Work closely with project management, Epic application teams, and client leadership to understand and fulfill field service support needs Maintain flexibility to work overtime and weekend hours as required by project demands
WHAT YOU BRING
4+ years of IT desktop support or field technician experience Outstanding customer service skills in a fast-paced healthcare environment Experience with PC setup, relocation, refreshes, and all facets of desktop deployment Knowledge of Windows operating systems and standard networking protocols (including TCP/IP and Ethernet) Reliable transportation and ability to travel to multiple healthcare facilities (mileage expenses reimbursed) Flexibility to work overtime and weekend hours as needed Prior Epic/EMR or healthcare experience preferred
Pay:
$23.00 - $26.00 per hour
