Job Description

Shepard Technologies is an award-winning Managed Services Provider serving businesses throughout the Tulsa metro area. We help businesses manage and support the technology they rely on every day. We are seeking a Tier 1.5 / Tier 2 Network Support Technician who is confident troubleshooting real-world business environments and capable of managing priorities in a fast-paced MSP setting. This role is ideal for someone with prior MSP, help desk, or systems administration experience who wants to continue growing technically and professionally. Our team supports Microsoft 365, Windows servers, networking equipment, virtualization platforms, backup systems, cybersecurity tools, and a wide variety of line-of-business applications. Most days include a mix of remote support, escalated troubleshooting, user support, and occasional onsite work. The ideal candidate is comfortable handling escalated support issues, communicating clearly with clients, documenting their work thoroughly, and taking ownership of problems until they are resolved. We value professionalism, reliability, accountability, and strong troubleshooting fundamentals. Candidates who thrive here are self-motivated, organized, technically curious, and genuinely enjoy solving problems the right way. Qualifications 2+ years of professional IT support experience preferred, ideally in an MSP or multi-client environment Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows desktops, printers, Microsoft 365, and common business applications Experience providing remote technical support using remote management tools and phone support Familiarity with networking concepts including VPNs, firewalls, switches, wireless networking, and internet troubleshooting Experience working within MSP ticketing systems and documenting work clearly and professionally Ability to prioritize and manage multiple support requests simultaneously Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team Experience with backup systems, endpoint security, and basic server administration is a plus Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications are valued but not required Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred but not required Candidates with stable work history, professionalism, and demonstrated reliability are strongly preferred.
