Job Description

About the role: The Network Associate is an entry-level, client-facing IT resource focused on end-user support and desktop-level troubleshooting. As the first line of response, the NA handles device setup, software installs, account changes, and common hardware or connectivity issues. NAs ensure staff remain productive by providing fast, reliable, and approachable support, while also maintaining accurate documentation and escalating more complex problems to senior engineers when necessary. What You'll Do:
Act as the first point of contact for end-user support, handling desktop and laptop troubleshooting, password resets, account changes, and peripheral support. Participate in recurring onsite visits, ensuring client systems remain operational and identifying any issues requiring escalation. Troubleshoot hardware and software issues across Windows and macOS workstations, printers, and mobile devices (iOS/Android). Provision, image, and configure devices including OS builds, installations, updates, and user profile setup. Support Microsoft 365 applications. Maintain network connectivity for end-users by supporting VPN, Wi-Fi, & drive mapping. Document all support activities ensuring accurate and timely updates to tickets Communicate technical solutions clearly in simple, user-friendly terms. Escalate infrastructure, server, or networking issues to appropriate TEC pillar. Contribute to a positive client relationship by being approachable, professional, and responsive to end-user needs. Support emergency service requests or on-call coverage Collaborate with internal Dataprise teams to ensure seamless client support. Stay current with training and certifications, continuously building technical skills to prepare for advancement. Travel in and around the Washington DC metro area with reliable transportation and a clean driving record.
What Skills & Experience You'll Need:
1-3 years of experience providing desktop or end-user IT support in a professional environment. Proficiency in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Microsoft Windows 10 and 11. Basic administration of Microsoft 365 (password resets, license assignment, mailbox setup). Familiarity with Microsoft Active Directory for account management and group membership changes. Knowledge of networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VPN, Wi-Fi). Experience supporting hardware and peripherals (laptops, desktops, printers, mobile devices). Ability to perform device imaging, OS builds, and application installs. Understanding of endpoint security tools and patching processes. Strong customer service and communication skills with the ability to explain solutions in user-friendly terms. Demonstrated ability to document work accurately in ticketing and documentation systems (e.g., ConnectWise, ITGlue). Reliable transportation, clean driving record, and willingness to travel throughout the Washington DC metro area. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with senior engineers and team members. Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage multiple client requests in fast-paced environments. CompTIA A+ or equivalent certification preferred.
Compensation:

We have a comprehensive Compensation Management System which establishes the guidelines we use in making compensation decisions and is comprised of compensation policies, salary structures, salary grades, incentive target guidelines, job descriptions, and career charts. This position's Salary Range is: $60,000-$65,000 (
NOTE:
this is the range at the national average level; specific salaries offered will be adjusted higher/lower due to the local labor market of the candidate).
