Duties Install, configure, and troubleshoot POS systems and credit card terminals across diverse retail locations Perform routine maintenance and repairs on hardware components using hand tools and technical schematics Diagnose hardware issues with equipment repair techniques, including testing with ohmmeters and other diagnostic tools Assist clients with system setup, network connectivity, and integration into existing computer networking infrastructure Read and interpret schematics to identify wiring diagrams and system layouts for efficient service delivery Conduct field service visits to ensure optimal operation of payment equipment, adhering to low voltage electrical standards Document all service activities accurately, including installation steps, repairs performed, and maintenance logs Experience Proven experience as a service technician or in a related field supporting computer hardware or electronic equipment Hands-on experience with POS systems, credit card processing devices, or similar electronic payment equipment Strong mechanical knowledge combined with familiarity in using hand tools for equipment repair and maintenance Knowledge of computer networking principles relevant to payment systems and peripheral device integration Ability to read technical schematics and wiring diagrams with precision for troubleshooting purposes Experience working with low voltage electrical systems and measuring instruments such as ohmmeters Demonstrated ability to perform field service tasks efficiently while maintaining safety standards Join us to be part of a dedicated team committed to delivering reliable payment solutions!
