Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Network Technician to join our dynamic IT support team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting our organization's computer networks, hardware, and software systems. Your expertise will ensure seamless connectivity, robust security, and optimal performance across all IT infrastructure components. Duties Provide technical support for network issues, including LAN (Local Area Network), VPN (Virtual Private Network), firewall configurations, and operating system troubleshooting across Windows, macOS, and Linux platforms Manage and maintain computer hardware, software applications, and peripherals to ensure reliable operation Assist users with desktop support tasks such as software installation, hardware upgrades, and operating system updates Monitor network performance and security, implementing necessary measures to prevent unauthorized access or disruptions Document incidents, service requests, and resolutions using tools like BMC Remedy, ServiceNow, or Jira for efficient tracking and reporting Configure and troubleshoot network devices including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points Support the setup and management of remote access solutions via VPNs to facilitate secure connectivity for remote users Collaborate with the IT team to maintain the overall IT infrastructure health and assist in deploying new systems or upgrades Experience Proven experience in providing IT support or help desk services with a focus on computer networking and hardware management Strong knowledge of operating systems including Windows (various versions), macOS, and Linux environments Hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting network components such as LANs, VPNs, firewalls, switches, and routers Familiarity with help desk ticketing systems like ServiceNow or Jira for incident management Excellent communication skills to clearly explain technical issues to non-technical users Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining high-quality service delivery Knowledge of security protocols including firewall management and network security best practices is preferred Join us as a Network Technician and become an integral part of our mission to deliver reliable technology solutions!
