Job Summary:
Examines heartbeat patterns on electrocardiograph monitors. Makes note of irregular rhythms and monitors changes in heartbeat. Ensures that monitors are functioning properly. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent. Associates degree preferred. Minimum 1 year of experience in the field. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
