Job Description

Sundance Lawn & Landscape specializes in providing landscaping and commercial grounds maintenance services in the Northern Virginia area. We are looking for an Irrigation Technician to join our team!
Responsibilities:
Knowledge of installing new irrigation systems, including pipes, sprinkler heads, valves, and controllers. Performing routine maintenance checks on irrigation systems. Diagnosing and repairing malfunctions, such as leaks, broken pipes, and faulty sprinkler heads. Troubleshooting electrical problems. Adjusting sprinkler heads and nozzles for optimal coverage. Winterizing irrigation systems to prevent damage from freezing. Monitoring system performance and making necessary adjustments. Maintaining records of system maintenance and repairs. installing, testing, maintaining, and repairing backflow
Requirements:
Minimum of 2+ years of experience with irrigation systems. Completing progress reports and associated paperwork. Experience working with Hunter, Rain Bird, and Toro systems and components. Great communication skills Attention to detail Must be able to start up and winterize the irrigation system. Troubleshooting and repair issues Know your way around electrical irrigation systems on a commercial level Experience in landscaping work is a plus. Responsabilidades:
Instalación de nuevos sistemas de riego, incluyendo tuberías, aspersores, válvulas y controladores. Realización de revisiones de mantenimiento rutinarias en los sistemas de riego. Diagnóstico y reparación de averías, como fugas, tuberías rotas y aspersores defectuosos. Resolución de problemas eléctricos. Ajuste de aspersores y boquillas para una cobertura óptima. Preparación de sistemas de riego para el invierno para evitar daños por congelación. Supervisión del rendimiento del sistema y realización de los ajustes necesarios. Mantenimiento de registros de mantenimiento y reparaciones del sistema. Instalación, prueba, mantenimiento y reparación de sistemas antirreflujo.
Requisitos:
Mínimo de 2+ años de experiencia con sistemas de riego. Elaboración de informes de progreso y documentación relacionada. Experiencia trabajando con sistemas y componentes Hunter, Rain Bird y Toro. Excelentes habilidades de comunicación. Atención al detalle. Debe ser capaz de poner en marcha y preparar el sistema de riego para el invierno. Solución de problemas y reparaciones. Dominio de sistemas de riego eléctrico a nivel comercial. Se valorará la experiencia en jardineria
Pay:
$25.00 - $35.00 per hour
