Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Level 2 Network and Desktop Support Technician to join our IT support team. In this role, you will provide advanced troubleshooting and technical support for end-user devices and network infrastructure. You will also resolve escalated issues from Level 1 support, ensure endpoint stability, and maintain network connectivity for smooth business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Network & Infrastructure Troubleshoot and resolve network issues including connectivity, DNS, DHCP, and VPN. Configure and support network hardware (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls). Monitor network performance and escalate major incidents when needed. Support remote connectivity and ensure secure access via VPN or remote tools. Desktop & End-User Support Provide Level 2 support for Windows and macOS systems, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting. Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals. Set up new workstations and manage imaging, software deployment, and updates. Support users via remote tools or on-site assistance. User Account Management Manage user accounts, permissions, and access in Active Directory and Office 365. Assist with password resets, MFA setup, and basic access troubleshooting. System Maintenance & Security Perform routine patching of endpoints and assist in antivirus and endpoint protection deployment. Support compliance with internal IT security standards and best practices Required Qualifications 2-5 years of experience in a desktop/network support role - Mandatory Excellent organizational skills, troubleshooting, and communication. Associate's degree in IT or related field, or equivalent experience. Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN). Proficient in Windows and macOS environments. Experience with Active Directory and Office 365 administration.
