New Testament Christian Academy Technology & Assessment Coordinator Start date:
ASAP Schedule:
30-40 hours per week

Jennifer Zanger — zangerj@ntcacademy.org End of incumbent's last day on file: June 12, 2026 (position continues) Summary New Testament Christian Academy, a Christ‑centered school, seeks a part‑time Technology Administrator with a heart for Christ and Christian education. This role supports school technology operations, student/staff accounts, testing setups/monitoring, FACTS SIS administration, DPI/WISE reporting, and event AV/media tasks. Opportunity to become full‑time for the 2026-2027 school year if the candidate is qualified to teach technology classes. Key responsibilities
  • Maintain and update Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) and Chromebook Agreement; distribute annually (August), collect signed forms, post in FACTS and coordinate principal communications.
  • Create and maintain student login credentials and Google IDs/passwords for grades 1-8; create teacher Google SHEETS with credentials and create login files in Tech Google Classrooms for grades 3-8.
FACTS SIS
administration: beginning‑of‑year setup, quarterly opens for grading, class/subject setup and student attachments, enrollments/exits, produce reports (directory, rosters, attendance, class info), end‑of‑year progression/archiving.
    DPI / WISE
    duties: weekly attendance verification, WISE Data Portal error validation (Dec/Jan snapshot), prepare Summary Enrollment Form (October), errata letters (Dec/Jan), May snapshot prep, and ad hoc DPI reports for Choice Administrator.
      Standardized Testing Preparation and Proctoring:
      MAP Growth setup (import files, test sessions), MAP monitoring and lab prep (Fall/Winter/Spring), FORWARD exam setup and monitoring (Spring).
      • Device management and provisioning: set up new staff laptops and staff accounts, prepare and label new Chromebooks/tablets and carts, maintain inventories, coordinate anti‑virus and firewall/content‑filter updates with external tech support.
      • Daily/weekly tech support: reset Google/network passwords for students/staff, troubleshoot software/hardware issues, liaise with external tech vendors and update tech needs documentation.
      • Set up IXL and IXL configurations for appropriate grades (1-8) and any other approved instructional software used by the school.
      • Events & media: prepare PowerPoint presentations for school programs.
      • Purchasing & maintenance: order and track tech supplies (headphones, cables, mice, CB bags/tags, printer ink), perform PC maintenance and software updates, prepare quotes and vendor requests when needed.
      • Documentation & meetings: attend weekly admin update meetings; prep materials; maintain master enrollment spreadsheet and curriculum tracking documents.
      Minimum qualifications Committed Christian who supports New Testament Christian Academy's mission. Proficient with Google Workspace for Education and Chromebook management. Basic PC/Mac maintenance and device/network setup skills. Highly organized with strong attention to detail and able to manage peak annual cycles. Clear written and verbal communicator who coordinates well with staff and vendors. Able to work independently with minimal supervision. Preferred qualifications Experience setting up and monitoring MAP and FORWARD testing. Experience with a school SIS (FACTS preferred) and
      WISE/DPI
      reporting. Prior experience generating district/state reports (WISE/DPI).
      • Experience with audio/AV support for school programs and basic multimedia editing for video/yearbook.
      • Experience working with students.

      • Flexibility required for after school events, testing windows, and reporting deadlines. Physical & technical environment
      • On‑site work in school technology lab and offices; ability to lift and move devices and equipment (Chromebook carts, laptops).
      • Regular use of school network, web portals (FACTS, WISE), Google Workspace, and testing platforms.
