Salesforce, Product Management Role Overview We're looking for a Senior Product Owner to lead delivery of high-impact customer experiences across a Salesforce platform that enables enrollment and incentives in Clean Energy and Income-Qualified Programs. This role is accountable not just for backlog execution, but for driving prioritization decisions tied to business outcomes, improving how teams operate, and influencing work across multiple stakeholders and teams. The Sr. PO operates in a 3-in-a-box model (Business, IT, Product), ensuring the right work is prioritized, value is clearly defined and measured and delivery is predictable, high quality, and outcome-driven. Key Responsibilities Backlog Prioritization & Story Quality Maintain a clean, transparent backlog with clear prioritization and minimal churn Ensure all user stories meet Definition of Ready with strong acceptance criteria and NFRs Anticipate gaps early and reduce rework through strong discovery and requirements Planning Reliability & Delivery Predictability Ensure 2+ sprints of ready user stories requirements and strong PI Planning preparation Support improvements to estimation accuracy and planning consistency Identify risks and dependencies early to reduce delivery surprises Agile Execution & Team Performance Drive Agile ceremonies (e.g., refinement sessions, product demos, etc.) Hold team accountable to commitments and continuous improvement Ensure retrospectives lead to real, sustained improvements Quality & Delivery Discipline Ensure all work meets Definition of Done with minimal defects and rework Drive root cause analysis for quality issues and implement improvements Raise the bar on release readiness and delivery discipline Value Delivery & Measurement Ensure prioritized work is clearly tied to business outcomes and KPIs Track and communicate value delivered vs. planned Support and improve visibility through dashboards and stakeholder reporting Stakeholder Leadership & Cross-Team Alignment Build strong, trusted partnerships with business, IT, and cross-functional teams Proactively resolve dependencies and align stakeholders on tradeoffs Influence decisions beyond the team to ensure aligned outcomes Domain & Platform Expertise Develop deep understanding of customer journeys, business processes, and supporting systems Anticipate and support resolution for downstream impacts and surface dependencies early Support product health and own escalations, research and troubleshooting. Qualifications 5+ years experience as a Product Owner or equivalent role Experience with Salesforce and SaaS platforms Experience working in Agile/SAFe environments with cross-functional teams Strong experience managing backlogs, planning cycles, and delivery execution Experience operating in complex, multi-system environments Leadership Behaviors and Values We Expect Ownership drives outcomes end-to-end Curiosity challenges assumptions and improves how work is defined Tenacity drives progress despite ambiguity Nimbleness adapts while maintaining clarity and alignment Trust & Empathy builds strong, credible relationships
