Experteer Overview In this role you will act as the business representative on an agile team, translating vision into well-defined user stories and priorities to drive value. You will guide multiple delivery teams, balance business value with investment, and ensure regulatory and risk considerations are embedded in solutions. You'll collaborate across stakeholders, mentors other Product Owners, and influence program-level delivery. This is a mission-driven role at USAA with a focus on empowering members and supporting military families, through agile leadership and clear stakeholder communication.

• Write, refine, and prioritize stories, features, and epics to support compliant solutions
• Own and maintain a prioritized backlog for one or more Agile teams
• Collaborate across business domains and lead development across multiple teams at program or Epic level
• Represent the business with delivery teams throughout the product cycle
• Partner with sponsors, stakeholders, and IT to document processes and understand needs, measures, risks, and controls
• Plan at portfolio/program/project levels for schedule, scope, and resources
• Prepare the business for change with tactics and metrics for benefits, adoption, and risk
• Coach and mentor other Product Owners and influence stakeholders across programs
• Identify and address risks in line with risk and compliance policies Tasks
• 8 years of experience in process improvement, project delivery, business/requirements analysis or related to supported business operations/product line
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office, databases and product management tools
• Expert knowledge of multiple delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, SAFe) and track record in product life cycle management
• Expert in analyzing business requirements, process flows and use cases to streamline processes per risk and regulatory requirements
• Proven ability to translate requirements into functional specifications and deliverables
• Advanced ability to gather requirements and deliver business capabilities within approved methodologies
• 2+ years of experience working with Third Party Administrators (TPA) and Agile Program Owner experience at USAA
