We are seeking a Senior Product Owner (PO) to support and evolve Charles Schwab's Mutual Fund Trading Platform within the Trading Applications Platform Strategy and Support (TAPSS) organization. This role partners closely with business stakeholders and technology teams to deliver high-quality trading, reporting, and operational capabilities that align with firm strategy, regulatory requirements, and client experience goals. The Senior Product Owner plays a critical role across the full mutual fund trading lifecycle, including order entry, fund placement, execution, reporting, and operational support, requiring strong business acumen, technical understanding, and Agile product leadership Our Opportunity Serve as the primary liaison between business and technology teams Own and prioritize the product backlog balancing features, regulatory needs, and business partner support Write user stories, workflows, and acceptance criteria Support development, production support, and enhancements across trading platforms Lead delivery of high-profile initiatives across multiple systemsFacilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and PI PlanningPartner with Product Owners and technology teams to manage dependencies Ensure transparency of delivery progress, risks, and outcomes Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and PI Planning Partner with Product Owners and technology teams to manage dependencies Ensure transparency of delivery progress, risks, and outcomes Support QA, UAT, certification, and release readiness Identify risks and mitigation strategies early Train business users on new features What you have Required Experience 3 - 5 of Senior Product Owner experience Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) Excellent communication and stakeholder management Experience managing complex, cross-functional initiatives Knowledge of mutual fund trading and financial services Preferred Qualifications 3-5 years securities industry or trading experience 3-5 years managing large, complex initiatives Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience What's in it for you At Schwab, you're empowered to shape your future.
